Modern Icon Riot Lead
This lead was designed for crowd control work, our 2 handle lead takes our standard lead design and incorporates a second handle at 12″, allowing the handler to keep their partner close in crowded environments or for use in man work training.
When not in use, our unique design allows you to tuck the extra handle into an elastic keeper. This prevents it from becoming a snag hazard, but still allows it to be easily deployed when needed. Made from heavy duty 1” mil-spec tubular webbing that’s strength rated to 4,000 lbs, it is quick-drying, mould and mildew resistant and extremely durable.

The side of these little fur missiles people don`t usually see! It`s always really important to me to have a dog that can do both sides of life. Drag an aggressive guy out of a car kicking and screaming or have a quiet cuddle and fall asleep on my lap in the evening.

Sig always loves a challenge and this kind of event really throws some scenario curveballs! Lots of contaminated scent pictures, running people she needs to ignore and some crazy locations... Still the only time I`ve ever tracked someone with a transition from grass, to indoors and concluding in loft space!

Always love great kit whether I currently supply it or not. This Fjord raincoat from @nonstopdogwear has been an absolute winner for hiking in rough weather with Sig. 3L waterproof membrane with a 15,000mm HH makes it as good as my technical jackets, and getting into a 1-man tent/sleeping bag with a dog that isn`t soaked to the skin is a huge win at the end of a hard day!

I`ve been experimenting for a few months now using super bright orange articles for a few reasons;
Firstly, the colour of the green grass and the orange article appear very similar within the colour spectrum the dog can see. This helps minimise visual dependence as they are working and pushes them to really use their nose.
Second, the orange really stands out to the human eye so it makes it much easier for me to be precise with my training, and make sure we never leave unfounded articles on the field!
Just got a big supply of them in Biothane, leather, nylon webbing and closed cell foam They will be up on the website soon along with the first batch of custom Modern Icon 33ft tracking lines!
