A couple of my best mentors in the dog world.

@jhschettler from GAK9 and Anna from Follow dogs/GAK9 UK were both huge influences getting me into tactical tracking with dogs.

Originally, Sig was bought purely as a Sport dog, but after trying Mantrailing as a way to work Sig in drive through environments she struggled with, I fell in love with the game of tracking.

Contrasted to the precision and control in sport, while trailing the dog has freedom to use its full God-given capabilities. The relationship transforms from leader and subordinate to a team working to solve a difficult task together.

I think it`s a change for life now that I`ve been bitten by the bug for trailing, and I`m sure the next dog will be starting its journey on this skill from day 1!
