Modern Icon 1.5” Summit Collar
Inspired by the heavy-duty tactical collars, the 1.5″ Summit Collar is a lightweight collar designed for medium to large breed dogs with active lifestyles. Based off of the tried-and-true Rigid Collar platform, the 1.5″ Summit Collars provide the same rugged appearance. Since these collars are not designed for military or police work Modern Icon are able to offer a more streamlined design, keeping material bulk and weight down to a minimum. The result is a collar that is perfect for every-day activities.
There are multiple layers of lightweight but durable webbing, which is both quick drying and long lasting. A triple pass adjustment system allows for maximum adjustability while conserving space—providing more room for add-on customisation. The Clasp is a magnetic Fidlock® buckle and a heavy gauge welded D ring as a secure point to clip your lead. Sizes small through extra large also have integrated attachment points, compatible with most collar-mounted GPS tracking devices, allowing you to attach them directly to the collar.
Please note that dogs performing apprehension, bite work, or dogs that need heavy-duty materials and metal buckles should utilise the Operator Series collars.

Still an Engineer at heart, so I can`t resist a little side project to upgrade some of my existing K9 setup... Stage 1 prototype of a remote control crate popper is almost finished. Also making a little IR remote control panic button for my tac vest, which will release the dog when polite chats go sideways! 😅
I`d love to know if there`s an easy ready-made retrofit already available in the UK... Looked all over and decided I`d just have to build my own!
