Combat Systems K9 Tactical Harness

The Combat Systems full specification tactical harness is the single highest quality full tactical harness currently available on the UK market and was brought to Snakeshead K9 specifically to address a gap in products easily available to UK handlers.
Designed for maximum versatility, excellent thermal management and a range of full rated metal hardware. Genuine Cobra Snakebite buckles are used throughout along with full rated mil-Spec webbing.
The velcro placement allows for large ID panes to be added to the sides and back of your working K9 and also integrates well with out Nitecore NU05 LE curved velcro mount. Across the back panel, the laser cut Molle back panel allows for attachment of a wide range of additional accessories.

The harness features webbing clip in points that can be used to attach rucksack straps for easy K9 extraction. The zip sides make donning and doffing the harness quick and easy.
This harness comes with a quick attach swiss seat included as standard and we love the athletic fit that suits both Malinois and German Shepherds. Getting a great fit on a Malinois can be hard to find and this product was brought to Snakeshead K9 to specifically address an issue where I have seen a lot of full spec tactical harnesses fail.

This product is manufactured to order and shipped directly from the factory, so please allow a 4 week lead time for delivery.

Two weeks ago we became three. Last night Alfred met the crew.

He's got about 18 years before he's operational. Plenty of time to nail dutch rolls, ladders and BAECO.

Standards don't start when you're old enough to understand them. They start when you're old enough to watch!

The question is... do we trust the indication enough to push it further and blindfold for the throw?! No keys, no way home!

Tired dog after 1000m of tracking always makes it a risk! 😬😅

Sunday afternoon chill waiting for baby to drop with Sig, 100% on in the field, 95% off in the house, always the goal. With the Mals it often needs training deliberately!

In my mind, its no good having a spicy dog for extra home security, if its in a kennel when its needed! I also havent the patience for spending my home time with a always on nutcase! 😅

Dog and Bone

Lucky enough to catch x3 of the Rockwell B1 "Bones" returning to RAF Fairford on our evening dog walk yesterday. How many times do you get to proof your stay command under a supersonic bomber capable of carrying 34tn! Flew right over us and those turbofan engines really make the ground shake!

My background is in the Defence industry, and as an Engineer, high performance design, quality control and a zero fail mentality is exactly why I set up Snakeshead K9! Some missions are too important to rely on kit thats "Good Enough"!

Another sunny evening out with Sig tonight and letting her blow off some steam with a few bark and holds. All I'm aiming for today is her finding a nice square position, good eye contact not distracted by the toy, and a clean rythmic bark.

Loads of ways to get to Rome on this one and all have their pros and cons! Given the same dog and a do over, I would love to have tried building this up with a much higher defence drive component rather than pure prey drive.

Deeper bark, more intensity and pressure on the decoy and some seriously bad intent are all things hard to acheive while it feels like a game!

Started rebuilding the retrieve after years of neglecting this exercise! Sig was always super chompy on the dumbell (one judge asked me if I was planning to take it off her before she finished eating it!) and it really irritated me each time I went to fix it!

Finally stripped the emotion out from my side and got back to basics! Still gotta keep that ass on the floor for the throw and still got to get that 1 cheeky bite out as she comes into the front position, but a world better than where it was!

First weekend of the Snakeshead Fritillary Flowers coming out and a special time of year for us. 12 months since Snakeshead K9 was set up to ensure the best quality kit in the world is always available to UK handlers, and its been a blast!

More than 200 happy customers now kitted out with Modern Icon collars, leads and harnesses plus some exciting new developments in the works! New products, more reviews, new training and not least, the next little addition to the Snakeshead K9 family due April 29th! Not a puppy (yet!) but our first child!

Massive thanks to @moderniconk9 who have always been fantastic to work with and genuinely make the best kit in the world, @kit4dogs for the advice, guidance and support, and to every customer who has put their faith in me to deliver. Bring on an even bigger 12 months next!
